Conditions of Hire
Goods are hired to the customer on the understanding
that they shall be returned in an undamaged and clean condition and
the customer shall be responsible for and indemnify us against any loss
or damage to the goods while on hire.
Customers measurements are final.
Customers are advised to check immediately after receipt the hired goods
that they are complete.
We can not be liable for any loss of profit or any indirect or consequential
loss suffered by a customer.
Payment for the hire is due at time of booking.
Cancellation of any hire is charged at £10.00 per outfit
A security deposit for Door to Door service by credit card to a minimum
level of £250.00 per highland outfit prior to dispatch. This security
deposit will be credited to the credit card number upon receipt of the
return of the Highland outfit(s) as long as this is returned in good
condition, that there are no shortages or damage and that the hire outfit(s)
are returned by the due date. Should there be discrepancies in the return
of goods or defaulting upon the required return date then the cost will
be applied to the customers credit card and the balance if applicable
refunded.
Damaged or missing items will be charged at their replacement retail
price. Heavy soiled items will incur a dry cleaning cost. Late returns
will be charged at a rate of £20.00 per outfit per day.
Returns within the UK and Northern Ireland is prepaid Parcel Force Courier
24hr service. The customer is responsible for contacting Parcel Force
to arrange the collection of the hire(s) details will be enclosed with
the hire.
Returns Worldwide are the responsibility of the customer. Return service
must be by courier. Insured to the full value of the replacement cost
of the hires and be delivered back to us on a maximum 4 days service.
This cost is to the customers and is not included with the hire price.
All returns from outside the EU must be marked "RETURN OF GOODS
HIRED, MADE IN SCOTLAND", on the customs declaration. A customs
handling fee is levied at £15.00 per hired outfit to clear UK
customs.
Returns must always be placed in the Blue return bag for protection
and security.
We reserve the right to substitute a Tartan to a comparable colour match
should the preferred tartan not be available in a specific size.
Agreement
I agree to the above conditions and to return the hire goods by the
due return date. Should the goods not arrive at our offices by the required
date I will pay a surcharge of £20.00 per hire per day for each
late hire to a maximum of 7 days where by if I have not returned the
hire items I agree to pay the full replacement retail new cost of the
hired goods which I authorise you to deduct from my credit card either
my deposit or in addition to same.
I accept full responsibility for all items hired to myself or party
in the event of loss or damage or theft I agree to pay for the full
replacement cost and any standing charges against the hire levied by
the hire hire company. I have read understood and agree to the above
terms and conditions, signed this day.
